On November 6, LG Display issued a document announcing The installation of transparent OLED in Starbucks' new store, located in the South Korean Starbucks the Yeosu Tusan DT store, the super large "transparent OLED table" consists of 12 55-inch transparent OLED, 8 meters long.

IT House noted that the transparent OLED table was placed in the middle of the first floor of the store, and when the drink cup was placed on the table, the sensor would react and create a wave effect around the glass.

THE Yeosu Dusan DT Store is one of the stores launched by Starbucks Korea in line with its strategy to make the store itself a famous store under the idea of selling culture, not coffee. The store opened only 10 days, has already received more than 20,000 people, even on weekdays, an average of 2,000 people a day to visit.

The transparent OLED currently in mass production by LG Display is the only technology in the world that maximizes the advantages of OLED, namely that the pixels emit their own light.

It generates less heat than existing leds, is suitable for indoor use, and can safely withstand loads through the use of special tempered glass, and can also be installed in a variety of Spaces such as Windows, walls and floors.

Following the existing 55-inch transparent OLeds, LG Display plans to expand its product lineup to 77 inches and 30 inches in the future.
