US airline Jet Aviation recently unveiled a private jet with Windows inside the VIP lined with three 55-inch curved OLED screens on each side, South Korean media Pulse quoted industry insiders as saying. This screen is provided by LGD to display flight information such as route, altitude and weather. After eight years of research and development, Jet Aviation has successfully installed curved OLED screens.
Rosen Aviation, another U.S. carrier, recently announced that it will add LGD's 65 - and 77-inch OLE D panels to its cabins by next year. Rosen Aviation says the panels are halved in weight and reduced in thickness, enabling a sleek cabin design.

OLED is transparent, rollable and foldable, allowing for different passenger experiences while being lighter than LCD, helping to reduce the weight of the aircraft and increase the interior space.
The use of OLEDs in a variety of vehicles has grown rapidly since 2019, with automakers like Mercedes, Cadillac, General Motors and Hyundai all incorporating plastic OLEDs into digital cockpits. The automotive OLED market is expected to grow 42 percent annually from $160 million this year to $670 million by 2025, the report said.
