On May 9th, Dr. Zhang Deqiang, chairman and president of Visionox, launched the global version of Vicigna metalless mask RGB self-counterpoint pixelation technology -- Visionox intelligent Pixelization (ViP) at the 2023 World Ultra HD Video Industry Development Conference. ViP technology is the strategic choice of Visionox and the inevitable result of its accumulation of technological innovation over the years. After long-term solid technology development and verification, Visionox has completed ViP key technology breakthrough, mass production process development and integration, and successfully lit up medium size samples based on ViP technology. At the same time, we are rapidly promoting large-scale mass production related work, accelerating our progress to the full size AMOLED field.

ViP technology has the characteristics of no FMM (Fine Metal Mask), independent pixel and high precision, which increases the effective luminous area (opening rate) of AMOLED from the traditional 29% to 69%*, and also increases the pixel density to more than 1700ppi*. Combined with the Tandem stacking device of Visionox, Compared with FMM AMOLED, it can achieve 6 times the device life or 4 times the brightness. The increased pixel accuracy allows the panel to be arranged with Real RGB pixels at high ppi; After lithography replaces FMM, color mixing between sub-pixels during evaporation and cross talk between sub-pixels during low brightness drive can also be solved, further releasing the advantages of AMOLED display effect such as clarity, color performance and uniform degree. ViP also enables Tandem laminated device, under screen camera, COE and other mature mass production technologies of FMM AMOLED to obtain a new process. For example, under the condition of no change in design and no increase in cost, the transmission rate of the sensor under the screen is increased by one times compared with the FMM process, so that the under screen camera technology from the bottom of the comprehensive innovation. Photolithographic technology is a mature technology in semiconductor field, and it is a sharp tool to realize high precision graphics. It has been used in TFT array of display industry. For many years, research and development has been carried out by several institutions around the world in an attempt to apply the photolithography process to the graphization of AMOLED display pixels. Among them, Visionox has made long-term technological accumulation with the goal of mass production, and has achieved innovative breakthroughs at present. Due to the sensitive characteristics of OLED organic luminescent materials such as water, oxygen and UV, Vicinosa has designed an innovative isolation column structure, which makes it possible to mass-produce photoetching pixel graphics. Originating from the OLED project team of Tsinghua University, Visionox began to study OLED devices in the laboratory. To the industrialization stage of PMOLED, it has carried out a lot of development and design work on the isolation column, and accumulated rich experience in its form design and material selection. These experiences also helped Vicinosa to take the lead in breaking through the difficulties of lithographic technology in the application of pixel graphics in display.

In order to accelerate the industrialization process of photoengraving pixel graphics, Visionox has developed corresponding simulation models for the special process of ViP technology, combined with more than ten years of innovative technology of small and medium-sized AMOLED display and mature mass production experience, to promote the common vector production of the industrial chain. In 2016, Visionox(Gu 'an) G6 fully flexible AMOLED production line has the ability to develop photolimetric pixel graphics. In order to meet the rapidly growing demand of the large and medium size AMOLED market, Visionox started to build ViP technology batch production line in Hefei industrialization base in 2022 to prepare for mass production.
